The fusion of two musical worlds has come to life as Addi Stefansson and Ethan Morgan unveil their collaboration, “Retrograde” which will be available across all major streaming platforms and on Bandcamp from October 13, 2023.
Infused with a soulful retro ambiance, “Retrograde” offers listeners a nostalgic journey through inviting harmonies and sunlit vibes. In a joint statement, the duo remarked, “Our collaboration brings together the unique elements from both our musical backgrounds. ‘Retrograde’ is our way of blending our individual influences and making our mark as a promising duo.”
“Retrograde” combines old school, soulful vocals, a funky bassline, electric piano chords, and tribal bongo percussion – a perfect cocktail for those who love that 90’s feel-good vibe. Recorded, produced, and mixed in Addi Stefansson’s studio, the mastering was expertly handled by Philip Röder at Copilco Productions. The track is 5:45 minutes in length and has 135 BPM.
